American Permian Energy Corporation is an independent exploration and
production company focused on the acquisition, development, and exploration of oil
and natural gas reserves in the Permian Basin of West Texas. The American Permian Energy team has years of experience in oil and
gas exploration and production. American Permian Energy Corp. is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
Our company name is derived from the Permian Basin. The Permian Basin is located
in the Western part of the State of Texas and the Southeastern part of the State of New Mexico. The Permian Basin is the
largest petroleum-producing basin in the United States and has produced a cumulative amount of 29 billion barrels of oil and
75 trillion cubic feet of gas. Currently, there are over 2 million barrels of oil a day are being pumped from the Permian Basin.
It has been estimated the remaining reserves are 43 billion barrels of oil and 18 trillion cu. ft. of gas; with some experts
claiming the content is much bigger. Based even on conservative estimates, the Permian Basin is the second largest oil and gas area in
the world.
